Excellent base for vacation with good wi-fi. Neat room. Knowledgeable people working here. Nice pool, parking onsite. Marvellous location near restaurants, Lone Pine and shops, only 5 minutes walk from Jake's Saloon.

Attractive room and staff is always professional.

The location is stunning and ideal, 2 miles from Mt Whitney Golf Course. And the area is pretty quiet just off Lone Pine and ' Alabama Hills ' and restaurants and bars.

Unbeatable and magnificent location in the Owens valley, met expectations. Greatly enjoyed my queen room with armchairs, separate bedroom plus kitchen. The staff were friendly professional, and the free parking was available. I didn't want to leave and would come there again.

The dow villa motel is a fantastic find! My queen room with two queen beds was super clean and recently updated. The views of mt. Whitney from my window were fine! It's within walking distance to restaurants and shops, made exploring so easy. Plus, the staff was helpful. Don't miss the year-round hot tub!

Family getaway worth it

The stay felt nostalgic for me. I couldn't help but remember the joy of childhood trips. The new appliances in the room were nice, especially the microwave and fridge, made things so much easier.

It wasn't inexpensive but definitely reasonable for what we got.

I adored the charming vintage decor that filled the lobby, adorned with Hollywood memorabilia. The wooden furniture and cozy seating areas made it a good spot to relax and enjoy a warm drink.

More comfortable seating in the common areas, please.

The historic charm of my room was fantastic. The Jacuzzi bathtub was a good surprise after a long day of hiking. It's cozy and comfortable with all the essentials. I loved the fast Wi-Fi, and the outdoor pool was a nice treat too!

I can't believe the level of neglect here! The mattress was old and sagging. The air conditioning was loud, interrupting my sleep constantly. What's worse, I noticed strange creaks from the floor, made me dread every footstep taken by those above me. Totally unacceptable!

Comfortable room, pleasant amenities, with a good breakfast option nearby at Alhambra bakery and easy access to great restaurants like Merry Go Round.

Not a luxurious stay.

The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff was attentive. The location provided fine views of Mt. Whitney. I highly recommend this place for its cleanliness and charm 🌄

The renovated historic hotel offers a cozy King Room with beautifully decorated interiors and quality appliances. The heater maintained the perfect temperature, ensuring comfort throughout the night. While the location is convenient, the swimming pool's proximity to the parking lot slightly detracted from the ambiance. Breakfast options could have been improved, as the selection was limited.

The room was clean and cozy, and much better than what i experienced at another local motel. The staff were super friendly and accommodating throughout my visit.
